We had a large group of missionaries arrive in mid August and another departing at the same time. In the picture of the 12 arriving missionaries. Note that Elder Hurwitz stands out - he is NOT standing on a box. It was hard to find a bike that fit him. These missionaries are now in the field working hard.
The next day we said goodbye to some of the missionaries we’ve worked with during the past year. Of particular note are Elders Terry, Jackson and Baird. Each of these elders served in the mission office with us as office elders. Elder Terry was in the field when we first arrived in the mission field and got us out of the office visiting members immediately. This effort on his part was and continues to be one of the best parts of our mission … working with the people.
