On July 21 we were able to see four missionaries off to serve their missions in the United States. Bonnie has been working with these missionaries for several months helping them get visas to the US. This has been a frustrating and exacting process. The US has changed many of its immigration rules making it harder to get visas. Sister Ang is now serving at Temple Square in Salt Lake City, Sister Try is now serving in Ogden, Utah, Elder Vey is serving in Sacramento, California and Sister Chhoeun is serving in Everett, Washington. We heard from the senior couple that just arrived were favorites at the MTC because of their faith and testimonies. They are great young people.

(and some friends) as they came to the mission home for Sister Kunthy Chhoeun to be set apart. We’ve grown to love this family from the TaKhmav branch [they have 9 children]. President Chhoeun is the branch president. They have one son currently serving a mission in Cambodia and a daughter who just finished her mission here as well. They have two more sons preparing. They went to the temple as a family earlier this year.
