Cruisin’ on the Mekong

The senior couples took a few hours to take a boat trip on the Mekong River. (Note the sign on the boat says it is for rent or sale). This five hour adventure was a good way to see Phnom Penh from a different perspective.

Along the river front you can see homes of those who “have” and those who “have not”. We thought it was fun to see the man giving his cows a bath in the river.

We went to a small village that has a shop where they make woven silk products. You can see the ladies shopping.

The picture of the hotel is the Hotel Cambodiana. This is where President Hinkley dedicated the land of Cambodia for missionary work on May 29, 1996.
