The best part of Christmas for us was reading the letters sent by our children and grandchildren and talking to them on Skype on Christmas day. We really enjoyed hearing from them and seeing them. We miss them, but are pleased with how much they enjoy one another. This really made Christmas for us. 
A mission wide conference was held on December 24 – 25. The events included meals, time for the missionaries to be together, a program put on by the missionaries and a testimony meeting where the missionaries addressed their “Gift to the Savior” for the coming year. It was an outstanding time for the missionaries. 
The North and South Districts had Christmas parties for members. 
The North District party included several traditional Khmae performances done by youth from the branches. Also included was a performance by the orphanage children. 
There was also a “performance” by three senior sisters (including Bonnie). The picture shown here is a teaser for the video (the video will have to follow at a later time) of the actual performance. This performance was done at the South District and was so well received that the North District president asked that they do it again at the North District. They received a standing ovation. 
On Christmas night we were visited by 15 young people who came to sing Christmas carols to us. Many of the young people are in the puppeteer group. They arrived all on their motos. The guard at our apartment would not let them in so we went to the street to listen to them. This was a great delight for us.
